Dr. Goodwin’s interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation grew out of his own experience of sustaining sports injuries while playing football and baseball in high school. He earned his M.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2010 and completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2014. He is fellowship trained in musculoskeletal and interventional spine medicine at Southwest Spine and Sports in Scottsdale, Arizona.
