Josh Goodwin, MD, FAAPMR

Joshua Goodwin, MD, FAAPMR, is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and trained in Sports and interventional spine medicine. He treats patients at Regenexx Las Vegas, serving Las Vegas, Henderson, NV, and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Goodwin’s interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation grew from his experience sustaining sports injuries while playing football and baseball in high school. He earned his MD degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2010 and completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2014.

Dr. Goodwin finished his Sports medicine and interventional spine medicine fellowship training at Southwest Spine and Sports in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2015. During his fellowship, he was involved in conducting research utilizing bone marrow concentrate to treat low back pain and disc degeneration and was a co-author on a review article discussing regenerative treatments for low back pain and disc degeneration.

Dr Goodwin has been part of the Regenexx organization since 2015. He spent 3.5 years as one of the lead Regenexx physicians at the Regenexx Des Moines clinic. in 2018, he moved to Henderson, NV and took over the Las Vegas Regenexx clinic.  Dr Goodwin is an expert in the use of ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided procedures.

Dr. Goodwin values the potential to heal tissue, increase function, and prevent surgeries through innovative procedures. With each patient, he starts by identifying the underlying structural or biomechanical problem causing pain and then works with the patient to find the best solution to help treat and prevent the recurrence of pain or injury.

In his free time, Dr. Goodwin remains active through hiking, sports, and working out. He values spending time with his family and traveling.
