    Meet Josh Goodwin, M.D., FAAPMR – Regenexx Las Vegas

    Joshua Goodwin, M.D., FAAPMR is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and trained in musculoskeletal and interventional spine medicine. Building on his specialty in the spine, neck, and back, Dr. Goodwin offers the Regenexx PL-Disc and Regenexx DDD procedures along with other regenerative therapies at Regenexx Des Moines. Dr. Goodwin values the potential to heal tissue, increase function, and prevent surgeries through innovative regenerative procedures. With each patient, he starts by identifying the underlying structural or biomechanical problem causing pain and then works with the patient to find the best solution to help treat and prevent the recurrence of pain or injury.

    Dr. Goodwin’s interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation grew out of his own experience of sustaining sports injuries while playing football and baseball in high school. He earned his M.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2010 and completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2014. Dr. Goodwin finished his fellowship training in musculoskeletal and interventional spine medicine at Southwest Spine and Sports in Scottsdale, Arizona in July 2015.

    In his free time, Dr. Goodwin remains active through mountain biking, hiking, baseball, and football. He values spending time with his family whenever he gets the chance.
